Clover Honey Special Edition Coming In April

SPECIAL ARTIST-APPROVED EDITION OF RICH TOMMASO’S CLOVER HONEY ARRIVES THIS APRIL

PORTLAND, OR, 03/09/2018 — Lovingly redrawn, relettered, and redesigned by creator Rich Tommaso (SPY SEAL, DRY COUNTY), the CLOVER HONEY SPECIAL EDITION hits stores this April from Image Comics.

“Inspired by Jim Jarmusch's Stranger Than Paradise, Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, and Alfred Hitchcock's North By Northwest, this new print is the definitive edition of CLOVER HONEY, my very first crime novel, set in my home state of northern New Jersey,” said Tommaso.

CLOVER HONEY tells the story of Abigail, an aspiring hitwoman who's determined to prove her value to the family—and who’s just hit the jackpot. Her cousin and former mentor is on the lam with a big briefcase full of mob dough, and the big boss wants Abigail to hunt him down. She'll have to brave the wilds of Newark, overpriced parking, traffic jams, and bad hair days to get the job done.

CLOVER HONEY SPECIAL EDITION (ISBN: 978-1-5343-0796-4, Diamond code: FEB180544) hits comic book stores Wednesday, April 11th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, March 12th.

It will arrive in bookstores Tuesday, April 17th and is available for preorder via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indiebound, Indigo, and Books-A-Million.

Note:  Also available at Book Depository.

Select praise for CLOVER HONEY:

“Displays a handsomely quirky drawing style and an incipient talent for emotionally
complex storytelling.” —Publishers Weekly

“Two words: understated drama. Whereas most hard-boiled fiction is over-the-top,
CLOVER HONEY is the exact opposite. It’s Mickey Spillane turned inside out.”
—Fantasy Literature
